Sunny lived her Grief to Grace retreat in 2017 and experienced a truly life changing event in that retreat! Every one of her relationships, especially her relationships with herself and with God, are better because of her retreat experience and the continual use of the tools she was given while on the retreat. Since 2017, she has served on the retreat teams in various roles, in both Spanish and English. She also helped launch the first Del Dolor a la Gracia retreat in Mexico along with her husband, Adrián, in 2022.

An Arizona native, her missionary heart and love for adventure led her to live in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina over the past 15 years. She and Adrián married in 2019 and moved to Sedona, AZ in 2023. They both continue to serve on the Grief to Grace retreats in Phoenix, as well as working to advance God’s Kingdom in Sedona.
