Celia MistrettaDirector of Outreach

Celia joyfully accepted the Lord’s invitation to move cross-country and step into a new chapter of service as the Director of Outreach and Program at Restore Dignity following her retirement in 2024 from a fulfilling 36-year career in education. Her background in teaching, combined with decades of volunteer leadership and fundraising experience, made the transition into ministry a natural and Spirit-led evolution.

Driven by compassion and a deep understanding of the human need for restoration, Celia’s passion for healing work was born from her own decade-long journey of intentional recovery. Her path to wholeness included confronting and healing from the wounds of sexual abuse and the impact of others’ alcoholism and infidelity. With God’s grace, she emerged not only with renewed strength but also with a fire to help others access the same hope and freedom.

In her role at Restore Dignity, Celia brings a unique blend of strategic organization, contagious energy, and an unwavering joy for connecting with people. She delights in building authentic relationships and creating spaces where individuals can encounter God’s healing love. Whether planning outreach efforts or supporting retreat logistics, she leads with a servant’s heart, a teacher’s wisdom, and a survivor’s empathy.

Celia’s story is a testament to the transformative power of healing and the beauty of saying “yes” to God’s call—especially when it leads to new beginnings.
